summer has begun! i'm full swing into my summer mode - spending mornings watering the lawn and scrapping, afternoons with errands or preferably staying home, hangin' on the patio...

the guys this layout was for scrapfreak's june GDT contest - the challenge was to use fabric and sewing on your layout.

catching up...

been ignoring this blog thing lately... here's some stuff i've been working on:

for ScrapFreak's May Be Inspired classes - i was asked to make a sample for class #3 - accessorize

For this challenge, you can only use "basics" (see list below) plus embellishments to create a page. Think about which embellies will best fit the look you are going for! And have fun.

Basics:
Cardstock
Monochromatic/Simple patterned papers (like dots, tone on tone patterns)

NOT Allowed - multicolor patterned papers

Embellishment Ideas:
Ribbons, trim, felt
Bling
Buttons
Chipboard and other shapes
Flowers
Journaling spots






WTG #8: insecurities - we all worry or stress over things. we worry that we are not good enough or that we are making a bad decision. these can be small worries or big ones. document something that you worry about. it can be something you USED to worry about but don't anymore, or something bothering you now. document why you feel the way you do.






WTG #7 - right now - while the core of who you are doesn't change, i find that my interests and activities tend to evolve from one year to the next. take a moment to capture the things you are into RIGHT NOW.
